Healthy Pregnancy – 36 Weeks

How far along? 36 Weeks (9 months!)

Baby Size: Canary Melon

Weight gain: 19.5lbs

Maternity clothes? I deck out in maternity clothes. I also bought a belly sports bra, which has alleviated a lot of pelvic discomfort after working out.

Belly Button in or out? Out

Best moment this week: Getting to hear his heartbeat. I will get to have an appointment every week now, and it will never get old hearing his heartbeat! Also, getting our bag fully packed for the hospital. I like checking things off my list.

Miss Anything? Energy. I feel like I am back in my first trimester with the amount of sleep I get/feel I need.

Movement: Lots of wiggles and early morning dance moves. Apparently running does not put him to sleep anymore.

Food cravings: Anything with a little cheese and/or taco seasoning.

Gender: Boy!

Looking forward to: Getting the car seats inspected this week so we will be officially ready (very early) in case he has an unexpected, early arrival.

This all cost about $90 (most of these I bought in multiples, such as the bananas, frozen fruit, yogurt, etc.). Many of these items are also being used in the food prep for after the baby comes. Eating healthy does not have to be expensive!
